So, December ended up being a busy month....we started the month trying to get ahead of the holiday business. I thought I was doing well until Harrison ended up with Strep throat one week then the next week, the week before Christmas, Avery ended up with RSV. We made it to Christmas healthy, praise God. Santa brought me a new laptop, which is another reason I'm just now getting an update on our blog. We had to transfer all my files over to the new computer and I still need to get a cord to get pictures off my camera!! (I have a few on there from Christmas I'd love to put up here when I get a cord.) Here are a few of my favorites from the month.
Above, I heard Harrison laughing and walked into the room to see he added some bunny ears to Avery's head. I started to tell Harrison to take them off, then realized that Avery was laughing right back at him! So, of course, I ran to get the camera instead!!!
Annie and Bret came over to celebrate Christmas with us and gave Harrison an Angry Birds hat and shirt! He was thrilled and has worn them every chance he's had!
Annie took some great three month pictures of Avery! This is one of my favorites. Thanks to Annie for continuing to share her awesome talent with our family!
We, Avery and I, are making weekly visits to hang out with Colton and Annie. Here is one of cute shots of them together and below is another from a week when Harrison joined us! I'm so lucky to have a long time best friend to share the joys of babies together with.
And nothing needed to be said for this picture below....it's just cute!
And, lastly, Harrison's hightlight of the month....He stayed up until midnight for New Year's Eve! (The real midnight - We weren't smart enough to change the clocks or go by New York's ball dropping!) He had been looking forward to staying up since August! How could we deny him! We had a great night celebrating playing games and watching CARS 2 (for the 50th time!) with Grandma Beano and Grandpa Hawk! Avery even got up for a midnight feeding to celebrate with us and Harrison and Grandma Beano added a little dancing to the night!
