Baby Avani...

My neice, Avani got the clean bill of health yesterday afternoon so she is back in Mommy and Daddy's arms! They are a very happy and adorable family. She looks like her Daddy!

Breaking News.....

My brother and sister-in-law just had their baby girl last night! Congratulations to them....Alyssa had to have an emergency C-section because she had an infection and they needed to get Baby Avani out, looks like all will be good, but Avani is on antibiotics right now, so a few prayers are needed until she officially gets the clean bill of health. Hope to have pictures soon!

I'm stuck....

I went out of the garage to walk to the end of the driveway and left Harrison alone in the car for a minute...when I turned around all I heard was, "Mamma, I'm stuck!". He wasn't really stuck and did again for the camera!!

The Statue of Liberty..

Rewind back a few months ago when Steve was in Atlanta. Harrison and I had our nightly ritual of eating dinner in front of the TV while watching Wheel of Fortune. (He loves to shout out letters and repeat the Subway commercial saying, "Subway, eat fresh"!) Anyway, one week it was "Salute to New York" week and every time they showed the puzzle they showed a picture of the Statue of Liberty. He kept asking what that was until he had it memorized then became enamored with the Statue of Liberty, getting excited everytime he saw it! Then a tax office started putting a guy dressed as the Statue of Liberty at the corner of this intersection we drive by almost every day and now he is officially obsessed with the Statue of Liberty, finding it every where we go or seeing it on TV in commericals, etc. While we were at the Arboretum yesterday, he stepped up on a rock and out of the blue put his hand up in the air and said I am the Statue of Liberty! Crack me up! I got him to repeat it at home here in the video!

Who wants ice cream?!

We met the Wilhelm kids for dinner and ice cream on Friday and you would have thought we were at a theme park, they were so excited!

My favorite babysitters....

I thought I'd share a picture of Harrison with his favorite babysitters! Every time we sit at the table to eat since they babysat last time, Harrison points out that he sat in "the other chair with Annie and Bret". Although their dog, Cash , is not pictured here, he loves him too! He names virtually every stuffed or toy dog he has "Cash"!!
