A caterpiller and an apple...

Halloween night pictures soon to come....
In the meantime, I snagged these from Annie's blog (with her permission of course!).  Cole, The Hungry Little Caterpillar (which she knitted), and Avery, Our Little Apple (which I bought!).  They were pretty cute together and got many "ooohs and aahhhs" at the Arboretum when we were taking the pictures!

A little catch up...

This is from this summer (before school started) with the Ray kiddos!  I stole it from Kristin's blog.  Haylee and Harrison love seeing eachother.  Precious Rylee with her broken leg and Proud Big Brother Harrison!

First Bath!!!  Boy, I could swear this was a picture of Harrison when he was a baby!
First day of preschool, which he absolutely loves!!
We did this with Harrison and Pat the Bunny and so we will carry on the tradition with Avery and her little Rainbow Fish.  Every month, a picture with her little friend!  Above - Month One
Month Two
This is a special picture.  Avery is wearing a dress that I wore when I was a baby.  My Mom kept it all these years!  It's adorable.
Of course, I had to get one of the cutest parts of the dress....the back!
Also, please note, two months and she now has two rolls on her little thighs!

St. Louis Favorites...

We just came back from St. Louis for Avery's Baptism and my cousin's wedding!  It was a great time - here a few of our favorite pictures...
A group shot from the baptism!
Avery in the traditional baptism gown.  Many of my aunts, cousins, and second cousins have all worn this gown that was tailored by my great-grandfather and embroidered by my great grand-mother.
A trip in October isn't complete without going to the pumpkin patch at Eckerds Farm!
 Just plain cute!!
Look at our family of four all dressed up!!
And of course, before leaving the wedding we made a family trip to the photo booth!  Avery loved it!! :)

Our Baby Girl....

We are officially naming this sweet baby girl, Avery or Averie.  (We are still hung up on how to spell it, but she now has a name!)  I am one day shy of 28 weeks pregnant and had a great visit with the doctor today!  The ultrasound was so fun to watch today - she waved her little fingers at me, blinked her eyes, and moved like crazy!  She is 2.5 pounds and healthy as can be.  Thank you Lord!  What a blessing!
Obviously, her profile picture here...and her head size is measuring average!!
Here is her sweet face.
And, last but not least, her adorable little foot!

Harrison's First Piano Recital!

Harrison did great!  We are so proud of him.  He had fun and says he wants to do it again!
Here is the moment we were all waiting for....Hot Cross Buns, played by Harrison Michael Gill!
Harrison getting his trophy!  We didn't know about this part - What a fun surprise!
Harrison, right after recieving his trophy, very proud and glad to have it in hand.  While he was sitting with Steve waiting to hear his name called, he kept watching other kids getting their trophies and told Steve, "They're going to run out of trophies Daddy."
Harrison with his piano teacher, Mr. A!
 Proud Parents!
Harrison with his Annie & Bret!  He was so excited that they came to watch him.  What great friends!  We love them so much!

Swimming lessons - Done in a week!

Harrison finished his ISR refresher course in one week!  Woo-hoo!  We're ready for the pool to open now!

Practicing Piano....

Harrison has been taking piano lessons this spring and I'm pleasantly surprised at how much he likes it!  He has a piano recital next week so we have been practicing our piano lately!  Watch to the end for his bow Gramma Achoo taught him!

Ave Maria...

It was Divine Mercy Sunday last Sunday and Harrison's Sunday School class sang the Ave Maria song while they walked to give the Statue of Mary flowers.  He was very proud of his new song he had learned (or the two lines of the song) and was singing them all day.  Here you go...

Our Little Firefighter...

Grandma Beano and Grandpa Hawk sent this cool whistle that blows bubbles so Harrison was checking it out.  The firefighter outfit is just what he decided to put on while playing dress up and he wanted to keep that on!  He got better at blowing the whistle as he kept playing.  Thank you Grandma & Grandpa!

It's a baby sister....

Harrison was excited to find out it was a baby sister, he was only disappointed that it wasn't a brother and sister!  Kids....never satisfied!  His name suggestion is definitely not on the list of possibilities but it is perfect coming from Harrison!

Snow Day...again...on top of our ICE!!

Toto, I don't think we're in Dallas anymore?!  The average temperature this time of year is 57 degrees!  This is crazy, but fun!  Here are a few shots and videos of our 1/2 foot of snow we woke up to this morning!

Introducing....Our Goofball!

I'm not sure what got into our little Harrison tonight, but he announced he was going to do a show for us and turned crazy!  Here is his announcement and preshow technical problem. (He had to fix "the lights" that were broken first.  So he ran to get his Handy Manny tools, fixed the "lights" and the show was then back on!)

The ABC Show...

Are you ready?!....Here it is - as Harrison says - "The ABC Show"!
