Getting Wet!

Harrison found the water coming out of the gutter, yes, I know very sanitary, but I think this proves he is a true boy. Getting dirty didn't bother him one bit! He was worn out and slept well!

One Year Anniversary of First Airplane Ride!

Harrison has flown many times during his first year but this one was special because it was exactly a year from his very first flight at 4 weeks old! It was also the most fun. He was awake and playing the entire time! He especially loved it because we had the entire row to ourselves and he played in his own seat standing up and sitting down, moving constantly! Here are a couple of videos, the first one is cute, he waves at the flight attendant and says bye-bye, and the second video you see just a glimpse of his constant activity!

Cousins Everywhere! Part II

There are now 8 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way! Here are the babies of the group. Yes, we'll still consider my Harrison a baby, although he is almost a toddler! Benjamin-6weeks, Nathan and Daxton-4 months, and Harrison-13 months. (Isn't it cute they're holding hands!)

We had a belated birthday celebration in St. Louis with some family. I made a bear birthday cake with the same cake mold my Grandma used for me for my first birthday! She loved it and Harrison loved eating it too! He wasn't so sure about us singing to him! He looked a little scared, maybe it was my singing voice!

First Big Boo Boo!

Busted Lip!! Harrison had his first big fall, flat on his face. Poor boy, he is fine, but it sure was drama!

(He usually doesn't hang out with just a diaper on, but we had just gotten back from the pool and were getting ready to eat dinner. Those of you with young children know there isn't a point in putting on clothes just for food to get all over them!)

Well, I did it. We took a picture of Harrison with his Pat every month for the first year. (Now I have to make sure I do this for the second child as well!) As my Dad says, Pat the Bunny sure does get smaller! As we reflect on this past year, it is amazing how much Harrison has grown up. I will definitely treasure all of the memories and milestones. Thank you to everyone who has made this first year of his life even more memorable!

MMM....Birthday Cake!

These are the only pictures I have so far from Harrison's birthday party. Annie is sending over more. Harrison loved the cake! He would have kept eating and eating until we stopped him!

First Haircut!

Harrison got his first haircut on his actual 1st birthday! He did great! He sat still, as still as a one year can, while flirting with a woman waiting to get her hair done!

The Wheels on the Bus!

Harrison is now doing the hand motions for "The Wheels on the Bus". It is amazing what he picks up. I didn't even teach this to him. He watches a video every once in a while and just did it one day! (Please excuse my singing!)
